Weetabix history started in Australia in the 1920's. The entrepreneur Bennison Osbourne had always dreamed about creating the perfect breakfast cereals, to be enjoyed by millions of people around the world.

In 1928 he could finally invent the perfect recipe, and the best Wholegrain cereals were born!  Australia, New Zealand and South Africa adopted Weetabix and it quickly reached millions of breakfast tables. In 1932, Bennison and his partners arrived to the UK full of ambition and, within a wide wheat field in Kettering - Northamptonshire, they found a home for the Weetabix Food Company factory, a place where the company's headquarters still remain.

The recipe is no secret – an average of 365 grains of wholegrain wheat are cooked with added ingredients, straightened in flakes, shaped and stewed.
